Petra had always tried to keep her diet balanced, but with a busy lifestyle, she sometimes wondered just how healthy it really was. She knew she could benefit from an easy way to evaluate her eating habits over time. That’s when she discovered a simple diet quiz that offered an overall snapshot of diet quality. This test helped her understand how she was doing and where to improve.
The diet test focuses on five core questions to assess healthiness of a diet based on sugar, processed food, protein, fibre, and vegetable variety consumption. Each diet category targets a key aspect of health. Low sugar intake helps stabilise energy and reduces risks like diabetes and heart disease, while limiting processed foods cuts down on unhealthy fats and additives linked to inflammation and obesity. Protein supports muscle repair, satiety, and metabolism, which aid in weight management and overall body function. Fibre, from fruits, veggies, and whole grains, is essential for digestion and gut health, lowering risks for conditions like heart disease and diabetes. Lastly, eating a variety of vegetables provides a wide range of nutrients and antioxidants, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, and supporting optimal organ function.
Each question has four answer options, scoring from 1 (least healthy) to 4 (most healthy), allowing you to see where you stand on a scale of 5 to 20. Here’s a breakdown of the questions:
